Creative files come with details worth keeping: who made them, where they live, which permissions apply and which projects use them. Creator Inventory System gives those details a structured place in desktop Excel.

HOW IT WORKS

Stable IDs link records. Record acquisition cost once, even when an asset appears in several projects. Track cumulative sales, refunds, fees and operating expenses separately. Review columns flag missing financial inputs and invalid record links. Input cells are highlighted; formulas remain editable.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Requires desktop Microsoft Excel. Tested in Microsoft Excel 16.0 on Windows: 38 authoring-engine checks and 21 native Excel checks passed. Google Sheets, LibreOffice, mobile Excel and macOS Excel have not been verified. No macros or external connections. This is an Excel template, not a standalone Windows application.

The six record tables each support rows 8–207. Do not add records below that limit. Amounts use AUD, regardless of storefront checkout currency. This is an operational tracker, not tax/GST software or a measure of accounting profit. Rights and backup status are manually recorded; the workbook does not verify ownership, scan files or back up assets. Screenshots show fictional sample inputs. The supplied master starts empty.

LICENCE AND SUPPORT

One individual or legal entity may use and adapt the workbook for personal and internal commercial work, including staff or contractors working for that purchaser. Share reports based on your own data. Template resale or redistribution is not included, subject to applicable storefront terms and mandatory law. Full customer licence

The publisher of Creator Inventory System identified on the AechIndex product page grants the purchaser (one individual or one legal entity) a perpetual, non-exclusive right, to the extent the publisher can grant it, to use and modify the workbook for that purchaser's personal and internal commercial work. The purchaser may make backups and working copies and allow its staff or contractors to use them for that purchaser's work.

The purchaser retains its data and may share reports and exports created from that data. The blank or modified template may not be resold, sublicensed, uploaded to a template library, or redistributed as a competing standalone product. Additional independent businesses need their own licence. This restriction does not claim rights in facts, ideas, methods or material the publisher does not own. It does not reduce any rights granted to the purchaser under applicable storefront terms or mandatory law.
